DHAKA: Another Nimtoli fire victim succumbed to her injuries at the intensive care unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Thursday night, after fighting a losing battle for life nearly 28 days.

With the latest death, the toll from the inferno reached to 123.

The deceased was identified as Babita Burman, 18, hailed from Keshabpur under Kalmakanda upazila in Netrokona district.

“After SSC, Babita moved to Dhaka in 2008 to learning computer. She was staying at her uncle - Dr Badal Burman’s house at Nimtali,” her mother Kalpana Burman told banglanews24.com.bd.

Three of her cousins, who suffered severe burn injuries at that tragic night with Babita, are still in danger, on-duty doctors said.
