Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in many parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am today (July 12).
According to a weather bulletin issued on Saturday morning (12 July), rain or thundershowers are likely at several places in Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
A few areas in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also experience rainfall, with chances of moderately heavy to heavy falls in some locations.
Day and night temperatures across the country are expected to rise slightly.
Sylhet recorded the highest temperature today at 36°C, while the lowest temperature was 24.8°C in Bandarban.
In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 6:49 pm today, and sunrise at 5:19 am tomorrow (July 13).
