4 killed in Sylhet road crash

SYLHET: Four people were killed in a road crash on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Osmaninagar area of the metropolitan on Wednesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a pick-up van collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw due to poor visibility caused by dense fog in the area around 7:30am, leaving three people dead on the spot and injured another.  

Sylhet additional police super Rowshanuzzaman Siddique confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Osmaninagar Thana Officer-in-Charge Jubayer Ahmed told banglanews, “Critically injured other was sent to Osmani Medical College Hospital.”
