Bangladeshi’s beheaded body recovered in NY

NEW YORK: New York police recovered beheaded body of a Bangladeshi expatriate at Brooklyn in the city on Monday night (US time).

The deceased was identified as Mohiuddin Mahmud Dulal, 57, son of Muhammed Hossain hailed from Sandwip Upazila of Chittagong district.

Victim’s younger brother Hanif Mahmud said to banglanews that on information, he rushed to his brother’s house, 546, Macdonald Avenue in Brooklyn of the city at around 12:00am and found the throat slit body lying on the basement and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to the office of city medical examiner and sealed the spot.
 
Police tried to identify the motive behind the killing and killer.  

Sources also said that Rasel, hailed Begumganj upzila under Noakhali district, resided on the basement of the house but he went missing after killing incident.
