KHAGRACHARI: Miscreants shot to death a local Awmai League leader in Logang union under Panchari upazila of the district around 8:00pm Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Nabo Ranjan Tripura, 42, vice-president of Logang Union AL.

Local sources said miscreants shot Nabo Ranjan near his house in Kabbari Para under Logang Union of the upazila, leaving him dead on the spot.

President of upazila Awami League Bahar Mia alleged that UPDF people killed him.

Officer-in-Charge of Panchari Thana Samad Morol confirmed the matter to banglanews.
