DHAKA: The law enforcement agency held three persons from the city on Saturday morning for their allged involvement in police killing case.

The detainees are Robiul Islam Nayan, Jobayer, Anupam Chandra.

Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police  media wing Abu Yusuf confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on December 24, a police constable was killed in petrol bomb attack on a requisitioned police car in city’s Bangla Motor area.

Later, a case was filed against 38 people naming BNP acting Secretery General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other senior leaders of the party and Jamaat-Shibir men in this connection.
