Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three people for allegedly extorting from Babubazar area under Kotwali Police Station of Dhaka.

The arrestees are Raju, 29, Suman, 28, and Ripon, 39.

On Monday (May 6), they were arrested in a raid in Babubazar area. 

At this time, Tk 2000 in cash and 3 wooden sticks were recovered from them.

RAB-10 Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) M. J. Sohel confirmed the matter. 

This RAB officer also said that cases have been lodged against them and handed over to the concerned police station.
