BHOLA: Coast Guard of Bangladesh in a drive seized 80-maund Jatka (young hilsa bellow nine inches long) from a passenger launch in Ilisha Bishwaroad area of the district Tuesday night.
 
Coast Guard South zone operation officer Lieutenant Rakibul Hassan said to banglanews that a team of coast guard conducted drive on a passenger launch of M.V Farhan-3 at around 9:00pm and seized these Jatka.

Rakibul added that the law enforcers seized the fishes but owner could not be found.

Earlier on Monday, a team of coast guard in another drive seized 100 maunds of Jatka from Tentulia Sreepur area, the officer said.
