DHAKA: Mollah Wahiduzzaman has been appointed as chairman of Privatization Commission with the status of state minister.

A gazette notification was issued in this connection on Thursday.

Prior to his new appointment, Wahiduzzaman served as secretary in food ministry and Prime Minister’s office.

He is expected to take new charge on January 19.
