5 Bangladeshis killed in Dubai road crash

At least five Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in a road accident in Dubai city of United Arab Emirates.

The accident happened around 10:30 am on Sunday (July 7) (Bangladesh time).

The deceased are - Ibadul Islam, son of Sheikh Ibrahim from Nababganj Upazila, Md Rashed, son of Abdul Hakim, Md Rana, son of Lutfar Rahman, Md RAzu, son of Sheikh Irshad and Md Hira Mia, son of Md Manju from Dohar Dohar. Four of the deceased are residents of Jaykrishnapur Union.

All of them were employees in the same company in Ajman province of UAE.

Reshma Akhter, Chairman of Jaykrishnapur Union Parishad of Nawabganj Upazila, quoting the relatives of the deceased, said that their car exploded in an accident on Sunday morning while going to work, leaving them dead on the spot.
