Diamond World Managing Director Dilip Kumar Agarwala and Enamul Hque Khan Dolan of Diamond & Divas have been sued in a murder case with ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 135 others.

The victim’s mother Renu filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Farah Diba Chanda on Monday.

The court also asked the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to submit a report to it after conducting an investigation into the case.

One Shuvo received bullet injuries at Dhanmondi Road No. 32 on 19 July during the movement enforced by the activists of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

Later, he met the end of his life while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.      

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former State Minister for Industries Kamal Hossain Majumdar, former Textiles and Jute Minister Jahangir Kabir Nanok, and former parliament members Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Ilias Uddin Mollah, Sadeque Khan, Ferdous Ahmed, Gazi Mejbaul Haque Sachhu, Sabina Akhter Tuhin, Monwar Hossain Dipjol, and Tahjib Alam Siddique, son of Nur Alam Siddique, are also among the accused.
