CHUADANGA: Two people were killed and another one was injured in a road accident in Bhultia area on Chuadanga-Jhenidah highway on Saturday evening.

The deceased was identified as Nazimuddin, a cattle trader of Chandipur village under Damurhuda upazila and Ziaur Rahman, a trolley driver of the area.

Witnesses said a cattle-laden trolley turned turtle in the area after its driver lost control over steering, leaving two people dead on the spot and another one injured.

Officer-in-Charge of Chuadanga Sadar Thana Faruk Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
