DHAKA: The Anti-Corruption Commission is quizzing Awami League lawmaker Abdur Rahman Bodi, elected from Cox’s Bazar-4 constituency, for his alleged involvement in attaining illegal assets.

MP Bodi is being interrogated by Investigation officer and deputy-director of ACC Ahsan Ali from 10:00an at ACC office in Segunbagicha of the city.

Earlier, ACC probe team collected income tax file and affidavit of Bodi from Cox’s Bazar.

As per affidavit of the AL MP, the volume of his asset had increased 351 times in last five years.  His net asset has increased more than 19 times. So, ACC decided to investigate whether his asset had been attained illegally.
