DHAKA: The Malaysian police rescued 11 Bangladeshis who were abducted by a human trafficking syndicate, reports the Star.
Besides, four Myanmar citizens were among the 15 foreigners rescued by police in raids in George Town, Penang.
They were found in a room when the police raided the place at about 10:00pm on Wednesday following secret information.
The house was guarded by three other Myanmar nationals in their 40s whom the police also took into custody, said Kedah CID chief Asst Comm Mohd Nashir Ya.
Police are now on the hunt for the mastermind.
