PABNA: Police arrested two persons from Sujanagar and Bera areas of the district early Thursday for their alleged involvement in the killing of three cops.

The arrested were identified as Nader Pramanik, 42 and Wahed Ali, 42

Bera thana OC Sheikh Jillur Rahman said a special team, led by Pabna Superintendent of Police Jamil Ahmed, arrested Nader from Sujanagar while Wahed was picked up from Bera at around 4:30am.

On Tuesday, three police personnel- Sub-inspector Md Kafil Uddin, Nayek Abdul Wahed and constable Shafique Ahmed of Dhalarchar police camp were shot dead by outlaws in Bera area.
