Bandorban: Students of Bandarban Government College here on Thursday formed a human chain to press home their demands in ensuring the quality of education.
They demanded efficient teachers and suspension of the principal from the human chain and rally in front of the district press club in the morning.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to Education Minister through Deputy Commissioner in this connection.
“Since its inception in 1975, the college has been suffering from teacher-shortage. But the authority is not looking into it. We will go for tougher movement in future if the demands are not met,” one of agitated students said.
Earlier Lama High School students also staged demonstration raising same issues.
