Rajshshi: Police Saturday recovered an unexploded cocktail from Rajshshi University campus, recently ravaged by violence.

Motihar thana officer- in-charge Abul Khair said students saw an abandoned bag around 8 am while going to Ismail Hossain Siraji building to attend class. The university administration immediately informed police about the queer find.

“Police rushed to the scene and recovered an unexploded cocktail stuffed in the bag,” said the OC.

The crude bomb was defused by dousing with water at the police station.
