Kazi Reaz Rahman, a young entrepreneur who has dedicated his life to serving humanity, founded MASTUL Foundation in 2012 to support street children. Starting with providing food, education, and safe shelter for vulnerable children sleeping on the streets of Dhaka, the organization has now expanded its activities across Bangladesh, assisting underprivileged children, the elderly, laborers, and those affected by disasters.
13 Years of Impact
MASTUL Foundation has also extended its humanitarian work internationally. In 2023, it sent emergency relief to victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey. In 2024, it launched direct aid programs in war-torn Gaza, Palestine, delivering multiple trucks of food, water, medicines, and medical supplies to save countless lives.
Since Ramadan 2024, Kazi Reaz Rahman has been based in Egypt, establishing a volunteer organization to assist the war-affected people of Gaza. Beyond emergency relief, MASTUL Foundation has undertaken long-term plans for rehabilitation and development. These include rebuilding hospitals damaged in the conflict to provide advanced medical care, reconstructing schools, colleges, and madrassas to restore education, and ensuring long-term protection and support for children orphaned by the war and vulnerable widows. Through these initiatives, MASTUL Foundation is committed not only to addressing immediate crises but also to building a sustainable and hopeful future for the people of Gaza.
Founder and Executive Director Kazi Reaz Rahman, reflecting on the foundation’s journey and upcoming initiatives, stated: "Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu. Alhamdulillah! I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for His endless mercy and to all of you for your unwavering support and love, which has allowed MASTUL Foundation to complete 13 years and enter its 14th year. Every step, every smile, every success in this long journey has been dedicated to pleasing Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
When I first sowed the seeds of MASTUL , I had only one dream – to serve the creations of Allah. Today, with your collective efforts, that dream has grown into a beacon of hope for thousands. Over the past 13 years, we have stood by countless underprivileged children, vulnerable families, and marginalized communities, providing education, healthcare, food, shelter, and emergency relief. This achievement is not personal—it is a vast humanitarian effort made possible by Allah’s guidance and the tireless dedication of our volunteers, staff, well-wishers, and donors.
We believe that serving humanity is an act of worship. Allah says in the Quran, 'Be kind to what is on earth, and He who is in heaven will be kind to you.' This sacred principle inspires every action of ours. At MASTUL Foundation, we uphold humanity irrespective of religion, race, or ethnicity, following our moral and religious duty to serve others. Every effort we make is aimed at pleasing Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala."
