RAJSHAHI: A student was slaughtered by miscreants at a under construction 4-storied building in Terokhadia area of the divisional city on Friday night.

The identity of the deceased could not be found immediately.

Local sources said hearing the screaming; locals rushed to the spot at around 8:30pm and caught four people while they were trying to flee the building.

Later, they found a body lying on the kitchen floor of a student mess in the building with the throat slit and informed police.

Confirming the matter, Rajpara police station Officer-in-Charge ABM Rezaul Islam Reza told banglanews, “The four detainees are student of Rajshahi Paramedical College. Earlier on September 1, they rented a room of the four-storey building.”

The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.
