DHAKA: Two workers were killed falling off roof of a market in Sadarghat area in the Old Dhaka early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Nawab Ali, 25, hailed from Pirojpur and Habib, 26, hailed from Shariatpur.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sutrapur Thana Sub-Inspector Hekmat Ali said, “They fell from the roof while taking a machine down from roof, leaving them injured critically.”

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared them dead, he added.
