DHAKA: Three drug peddlers were held with one kilogram heroin worth around Tk 1 crore from city’s Malibagh area on Monday night.

The detainees are— Sahidullah, Sarwar Hossain Shohag and Shaon Ahmed.

Sources said that acting on a tip off Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a special drive in the area and nabbed them with the heroin.

A case was filed under narcotics control act with Ramna Thana in this connection.

DB Assistant Police Commissioner Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
