Road mishap kills minor in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: A minor was killed in a road mishap in Oxygen area at Bayezid Bostami Thana in the port city on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Fatema Akhter, 8, daughter of Bashir Mia, resident of Debidar upazila of Comilla district.

Constable of Chittagong Medical College Hospital Police Outpost Nazim told banglanews: “A rashly driven pick while crossing the road, a rashly driven pick-up van rammed her, leaving critically injured.”

Local people rushed her to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared her dead.
