SAVAR, DHAKA: At least 10 people were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Niribili Bus Stand area in Savar on Monday morning.

The injured were sent to Savar Gonoshasthaya Hospital.

Witnesses said that a Faridpur-bound passenger bus collided head on with a fish-laden truck at around 09:00am, leaving 10 people injured.

Among the injured, truck driver Alamgir, 28 and Alamgir Hossain 35, were injured critically.

Confirming the matter Ashulia Thana Sub-inspector Habibur Rahman told banglanews, “The bus driver fled the scene.”
