BENAPOLE: Two police officials were transferred from Benaople Land Port Thana on charge of various irregularities.   

The police officers are Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman and Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Mohiuddin Ahmed.

Police sources said after joining of two officials at Benapole Thana, crime activities had been increased rapidly. In this circumstance, high authorities of police department transferred them from Benapole Thana on Monday.

Sub-Inspector Sirajul Islam Siraj of the thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He added: “The police officials will join at Jessore Police Lines.”
