BRAHMANBARIA: Train communications on Dhaka-Chittagong-Sylhet routes was halted as a compartment of a container train derailed in Kasba of Brahmanbaria at 5:15pm Monday.

Akhaura Loco Shed In-Charge Mohsin Bhuiyan told banglanews, “A compartment of a Ctg-bound train derailed near Mondobagh rail station in Kasba halting the service.”

Rescue train was on the way, he added. However it could not be known when the service will resume on the routes.
