3 more BD pilgrims die in Saudi

MECCA: Three more Bangladeshi pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Jamal Uddin Pramanik, 66, passport number AF7524926, Jafor Ahmed, 61, passport number AC2665403 and Mohammad Kolimuddin, 74, passport number AF5279624.

A total of 18 Bangladeshi pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia this year.

Sources said Jamal Uddin Pramanik died in Mecca on Monday, Jafor Ahmed died in Mecca on Tuesday and Mohammad Kolimuddin died in Madina on Wednesday due to heart attack and old age complexity.

Around 90,000 of Bangladeshi people are likely to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia this year.
