Bashundhara Swimming Complex at Savar Golf Club

FROM SAVAR: Bashundhra Swimming Complex is going to be built at Savar Golf Club.

A deal was signed in this regard between country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group and Bangladesh Army.

According to the deal, Bashundhara group will finance the world class swimming pool.

In presence of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and GOC of Ninth Infantry Division Major General Choudhury Hasan Sohrawardi, the deal was signed and the foundation stone of swimming complex was laid. BG-Chair

Golf Club Vice-President (Admin and Finance) Brigadier General Siddikul Alam Sikdar (NCC, PSC) on behalf of Savar Golf Club and Bashundhara Group Advisor (PR and Head of AHR) Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Khandakar Abdul Wahid signed the deal.

Meanwhile, Architect Manjur Quader presented the various side of the project through power point and animation.

Architect Manjur Quader said that the swimming complex will be a standard swimming complex where there will be the country’s first and only musical water belle. Besides, water therapy will be available here and that’s why presidential and single suit will be made.

Within nine months the construction of the swimming complex will be completed, he added.

The renowned English paper the Daily Sun Editor Amir Hossain, Bashundhara Group Press and Media Advisor Abu Tayeb, Senior Executive Director Engineer Aman Ullah, Executive Director Engineer Helal Uddin, Bashundhara Cement Chief Marketing Promotional Officer Saiful Islam Helali, Bashundhara Industrial Unit of Department (branding and Marketing) Jasim Uddin were present in the program.

Meanwhile, high officials of Bangladesh Army were also present there.
