GAZIPUR: Two persons were killed and many others injured in a road accident in Bagharpara area under Kaliganj upazila of the district on Friday night.

Witnesses said that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus plunged into a roadside ditch when its driver lost control over steering in the area at around 7:45pm, leaving two killed on the spot and several others injured.

Kaliganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
