KAMALAPUR: Miscreants killed a railway official of Kamalapur station and looted more than TK1 lakh of ticket selling between Friday night and early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Israfil, 60,

Railway and police sources confirmed the matter.

GRP police station officer-in Charge Md. Abdul Majid told banglanews, “The victim worked as railway staff with a contractual appointment.”

Quoting railway authority, he also said miscreants killed Israfil to loot money collected from ticket sale from Friday noon to night.
