NATORE: Three people were killed in a road accident on Natore-Rajshahi highway in Ekdala Babur pukurpar area of the district early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Ismail, 35, Dulal, 40 and Muktar Hossain.

Sources said a buffalo-laden truck knocked roadside pillar and fell into a ditch as the driver lost the control over the steering at around 1:00am, leaving Ismail and Dulal dead on the spot.

Later, critically injured Muktar hossain was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at around 3:00am.

Natore Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Aslam Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
