DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 personnel held an Indian separatist from Vatara area of the district on Thursday morning.

The identity of the detainee could not be known immediately.

RAB-1 Operations Officer Major Mustak Sarkar told banglanews, “Acting on a tip off, law enforcers held him from the area.”

Meanwhile, a foreign Pistol, two magazines, two rounds of bullets were recovered from his possession.

Later, details will be disclosed through a press briefing at RAB-1 office.
