Member of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council and former Member of Parliament from Jhenaidah-2 Mashiur Rahman passed away on Tuesday (Nov 01) afternoon.

BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter. 

Shayrul Kabir Khan said the BNP leader’s family members found him lying unconscious on his bed this noon.

Later, they took him to the hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mashiur Rahman.
