A delegation from the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), currently visiting Bangladesh, met with senior BNP leaders at the party chairperson’s office in Gulshan this afternoon (October 23).

BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the meeting, which focused on issues related to democratic practices and political developments in Bangladesh.

The NIMD team included Programme and Knowledge Adviser Taiwo Nenge, Head of Positioning Helien Schreuder, and Senior Project Manager of AHEAD Bangladesh Mohammad Sahil.

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury led the discussions on behalf of the party. He was joined by Joint Secretary General (International Affairs) Humayun Kabir and Organising Secretary Shama Obaed.
