GAZIPUR: Miscreants torched a passenger bus of Balaka Paribahan in Mill gate area of Tongi of the district on Monday as 18-party’s 60-hour hartal is progressing across the country.

Local sources said that some 3/4 hartal supporters set on fire at the bus in front of Ashraf Textile Mill at around 7:30am.

Later, Tongi fire service unit rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Tongi Fire Station Officer Jakir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
