Mirza Abbas, a member of the party's standing committee, has said that the huge public gathering at BNP's divisional mass rally in Barishal proves how much people love BNP and the country.

The rally was organized today (Nov 5) protesting the unbearable price of commodities, constant load shedding, corruption-misrule, looting, lawsuits-attacks, disappearances and murders apart from demanding restoration of people's right to vote and the unconditional release of the party chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Mirza Abbas said: "Due to Internet disruption there is no live telecast. Roads, railways, and airways all have been shut. Still today the people of Barisal are present at our rally".

This government must say goodbye through voting. Otherwise, there will be nothing left for the country. "We won't go for elections under this government... we don't want elections with EVMs too, he added in his speech.
