Police cordon off Mirza Abbas's house

Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the Shahjahanpur residence of BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas since Monday morning.

His wife Afroza Abbas confirmed the matter to Banglanews. She, however, did not inform the online portal about the reason behind it.

Meanwhile, Mirza Abbas was scheduled to hold a press briefing at BNP's Nayapaltan party office at 12:30pm.
