BNP Vice-Chairman Khandaker Mahbub dies

BNP Vice-Chairman Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain expired at a hospital in Dhaka on Saturday (Dec 31). He was 84.

He breathed his last around 11:00pm while undergoing treatment at the Evercare Hospital. 

The information was confirmed Masud Rana, a junior of Khandker Mahbub Hossain.

On Tuesday, Sayrul Kabir khan, an official of BNP's media wing said Mahbub Hossain was on life support since Wednesday.

Khandker Mahbub left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter and a host of admirers to mourn his death.

Mahbub, former vice-president of the Bangladesh Bar Council and president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, was one of the lawyers of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
