Welcoming the English New Year 2023, Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader today greeted the countrymen on behalf of the ruling party.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, extended greetings while exchanging views with the Roads and Highway Division officials at Setu Bhaban in capital.

The Minister also expressed his hope that BNP will come out of their inherent negative politics in the New Year.

He said, "I would expect that BNP will return to the positive way of politics by shunning the dark and conspiratorial paths of their negative politics in the New Year."

Later, the minister discussed the progress of the ongoing projects.

He also held discussions on the progress of the development projects with the Road Division officials.
