DHAKA: An emergency meeting of opposition BNP will be held on Wednesday evening to discuss the current political scenario of the country.

Standing committee members and senior leaders of the party would attend the meeting, said a competent source from the party.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, also Opposition Leader, will preside over the meeting.

Various important political issues, including next course of programme, would be discussed in the meeting.
