Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold a march programme in all unions across the country on February 11 to realise their 10-point demand, including the formation of a caretaker government to hold the next national election.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement while addressing a rally in front of the party's Nayapaltan central office in the capital on Saturday (Feb 4).

Following a four-day peaceful and silent protest programme, BNP staged the anti-government protest rally in front of its Nayapaltan office in Dhaka on Saturday.

At the rally, BNP’s senior leaders and activists were also present at Nayapaltan area.

Besides, a large number of law enforcers, with riot gear, have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.

On the other hand, Ganatantra Mancha, an alliance of seven political parties, will organise a march and mass campaign programme across the country on February 11 to press home their 14-point demand, including the resignation of the Awami League (AL) government.
