Leaders and activists of BNP's Dhaka North City unit have started marching towards Bosila from Shyamoli to press home their 10-point demand, including holding national election under a non-partisan interim government.
BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain formally inaugurated the programme at Shyamoli Club Ground around 3:15pm.
Earlier today, Dr Khandkar Mosharraf Hossain, Standing Committee member of BNP BNP said that leaders and activists will organize march programme in all cities across the country on February 18.
He made the announcement today during a rally organised by Dhaka city North unit of BNP in the capital's Shyamoli.
Earlier on February 11, the leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies organized marches in all the unions across Bangladesh to press home their 10-point demand.
Earlier BNP announced two road marches in Dhaka on February 9 and 12 to press home their 10-point demands, including holding the next general election under a non-party caretaker government.
Later, the party postponed its February 9 road-march programme in the capital, considering the recent terrible earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
