DHAKA: Opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance decided to mull three-day long nonstop hartal and blockade from Tuesday.

The hartal and blockade programme will be announced after the election schedule announcement on Monday evening.

BNP wants to paralyze the country after the announcement of the polls schedule, said a competent source of the party.

As part of their movement, it will call hartal and blockade simultaneously from Tuesday to Thursday.

Meanwhile, the grass roots level leaders and activists have already taken all out preparations to make the movement programme a success.

The 18-party sources said they would observe the hartal and blockade strictly than any other of the previous programme.
