The Bangladesh Animal Welfare Association organized a daylong “Animal and Life Fair” at the Bangladesh–China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka on Saturday (Sep 13).

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will join the fair virtually from London in the afternoon as the chief guest.

The fair, open to all visitors, began at 10 am and will continue until the evening.

Held under the slogan “Let the country be a safe haven for all living beings,” this is the first unique event of its kind in Bangladesh.

Organizers said the fair aims to raise awareness about biodiversity conservation and promote Bangladesh as a safe habitat for all animals and living beings.

Animal lovers and visitors are also receiving guidance on animal treatment, diet, and lifestyle from organizers and participants throughout the daylong event.
