DHAKA: Opposition BNP joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said that the news of handing over letter to Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraf was baseless.
He confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday night.
Rizvi condemned the news and said that some media published the baseless information aiming to make government agenda a success.
Following the matter BNP Chairperson’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel told banglanews, “No letter was handed over to Ashraful Islam on behalf of BNP.”
