DHAKA: Indicating of opposition, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, on Thursday reiterated that the upcoming national elections would be held in stipulated time.

The premier came up with the assertion at a second meeting of Awami League parliamentary board at Dhanmondi office of the party in the noon.

Criticising the opposition party, she further said, in the name of protest, the opposition parties are using children in subversive activities, including hurling bombs.

She also observed that, in the name of democratic movement, the opposition is gradually making the children as terrorist.

Regarding upcoming election, the PM questioned the opposition, “Why cannot we work together in holding a free and fair election in democratic way?”
