LAXMIPUR: The daylong hartal, called by Ramganj upazila unit Juba Dal, is underway in the upazila on Sunday.

The alliance is enforcing the shutdown protesting the killing of a Juba Dal leader M Munir Hossain.

Earlier on Friday, miscreants kidnapped Munir Hossain, 35, and then killed him brutally.

The president of upazila Juba Dal Giash Uddin Polash told banglanews that all front and associate organizations of BNP extended their supported in the hartal.
