JP places 6-point demand to EC

DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) on Sunday placed a six-point demand ahead of the 10th general polls.

A JP delegation led by senior leaders reached election commission (EC) secretariat around 3.00pm.

Sources said the party placed their six-point demands to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rokib Uddin Ahmed.

The demands are extending time for nomination paper till 12 December, allowing magistracy power to armed forces, creating level-playing filed and reshuffle in public administration ahead of 10th national polls.
