GAIBANDHA: Opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance called dawn-to-dusk hartal alongside the blockade in the district for Monday.

The 18-party alliance coordinator and district BNP president Anisuzzaman Khan Babu made the disclosure to banglanews.

The alliance called the shutdown protesting police attack and arrest of its leaders and activists, including district BNP general secretary Gausul Azam Dollar and former Chhatra Dal president Shafiqul Islam Lipon on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, the alliance called half-day hartal for same day protesting the arrest and demanding release of central leaders.
