DHAKA: Three cocktails were thrown aiming the car of Local Government & Rural Development, and Cooperative Minister Sayed Ashraful Islam by miscreants in the Hossain Market area under Tongi Thana of the district on Monday morning.

Sources said that three cocktails were chucked to MP Ashraf’s car at around 8:17 am in the area while he was going to his electoral area Kishorganj from the capital.

Confirming the matter Tongi Thana Officer-in-Charge Ismail Hossain said that there were no casualties in this incident and the minister safely passed the area.
