DHAMRAI: A Juba Dal leader was held with petrol bomb from Dhaka-Aricha highway under the thana on Sunday night.

The detainee was identified as Anisur Rahman Anis, vice-president of Dhamrai Thana Juba Dal.

Police sources said that Anis and his one fellow were preparing to create violence in the area at around 12:00am. Police nabbed Anis with petrol bomb while another managed to flee the scene.

A case was filed under vandalism and exposition act in this connection.

Dhamrai Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
